CapellaCALLS_Poland

The fourth edition of CapellaCALLS leads the ensemble and its artistic director Katharina Bäuml towards the East, to Poland. Romana Agnel from Krakow and her dance company Crakovia Danza interpret period dances to the music of Michael Praetorius whose 400th anniversary is commemorated this year. The dancers Marie-Claire Bär-le Corre und Pierre François Dollé join them as guests. During this international collaboration featuring four places and three nations the artists pass a light through virtual space from one to the other, as a sign of connectedness as well as hope for the revival of cultural life in the near future.

CapellaCALLS_Slovenia

In the 3rd edition of CapellaCALLS Katharina Bäuml and Capella de la Torre meet Domen Marincic from Slovenia. Domen plays the viola da gamba and together they discover works by Jacob Handl and Isaac Posch, two renaissance-composers who worked in Slovenia and whose mostly unknown compositions are well worth listening to. The viola da gamba blends in harmonically with the sound of the ensemble even if the players are a thousand kilometres apart.

CapellaCALLS_ITALY

A springtime stroll through Florence – music in a Medici palace … all this is not possible at the moment. Instead, the 2nd edition of CapellaCALLS is presenting a virtual visit to Florence. Together Capella de la Torre and the Italian baritone Gabriele Lombardi explore the city of the Medici and their music.

CapellaCALLS_EUROPE

Katharina Bäuml initiates a new digital concert series with international artists with Capella de la Torre and Studio4Culture!

In times of limited travel and contacts, the new CapellaCALLS concert series aims to bring artists from different countries together to create a virtual performance with Capella de la Torre. An artistic exchange occurs in the digital space, which hopefully can soon take place again in the form of joint live concerts on stage and in front of an audience.

Every two weeks on Sundays at 5 p.m., further digital events from CapellaCALLS are to be published on Studio4Culture. Cooperations with France, Slovenia, Poland and Italy are coming soon.

Studio4Culture

Listen to a concert live on site? Or do you prefer to stream from home? Both are possible with the new culture platform www.studio4culture.net

We have all learned in the past few months that experiencing a live concert is a special and irreplaceable asset. Especially in these days, in the second peak of the pandemic, all questions are becoming new and painfully topical: How can our work be transported into the digital space?

The result is Studio4Culture – a digital music platform that enables not only the streaming of live events, but also a lively exchange with the audience.
We are enthusiastic about the idea of re-exploring the border areas between digital and analog and combining live events with on-site audience with streaming and new digital – interactive – possibilities.

We want to invite, arouse curiosity, inform, network: Herzlich Willkommen!
